Welcome to our blog!

We are Katie & Steve and Unveiled Photography is our baby and are passion! We are a husband and wife team who first created this wonderful business back in 2005 and have never looked back.

We first met at a wedding one summer in Kingston while we were both attending Queen's University. Steve was a friendly date of a bridesmaid and was banished to the back tables of 'non-association', where he met and struck up a conversation with Katie, apparently ignoring the fact that she too was with someone else (it wasn't that serious). Meeting back up that autumn, we catered weddings at a local hotel to put us through school. It was here during the stressful and chaotic times of most twenty-somethings that we fell in love and the decision was made we were a good fit for each other.

After marriage and the birth of our two wonderful children we made the jump and dove right into the profession that had always been calling to us. Digital photography was just beginning to bloom as a serious contender for traditional film and we heartily embraced it, offering contemporary photography with a photojournalistic slant, yet still keeping an eye for detail.
