Lisa & Marty ~ Engagement Sneak Peeks

Lisa and Marty booked our services for their July 2012 wedding almost a year ago, and when we tried to book their engagement session in the Fall, every date we booked there was a thunderstorm.

We decided to wait for snow (and for Marty’s foot to heal – that’s another story!), and this past weekend we were finally able to jive schedules with agreeable weather.

The wait was worth it: we met at Queen’s University and let ourselves into a couple of older, empty meeting rooms.  We were able to incorporate an old stone fireplace and mantle, as well as a piano.

We made our way outside to continue along university grounds, utilizing little nooks and stairs as we made our way to Summerhill.

Thanks for a great session Lisa and Marty!

Jill & Rob ~ Engagement Sneak Peeks

Our keen clients, Jill and Rob, happen to also be new neighbours.

They booked with Unveiled two weeks ago and took advantage of this last snowfall to dive right into their engagement session.

We began photographing at their home so that Oliver, their gentle giant chocolate lab, could get in on the pictures.

We headed to Kingston Mills Locks afterwards, where this incredibly fun couple led the session with ease and fun.

More pictures to follow next week!

Ringing in the New Year: Lori and Andrew, December 31st, 2011

Congratulations to Andrew and Lori McCracken who celebrated New Year’s together – married!

We were honoured to document the joy and emotion that naturally evolved during this New Year’s Eve wedding.

The ceremony took place at Edith Rankin United Church, and the reception was held at the Residence Inn by Marriott downtown Kingston.

It was our first time shooting in this new venue, and we were impressed by the quality and presentation of food, our server’s keen attention to detail, and the overall atmosphere of the reception room.

It was very obvious to all that both families support and love Lori and Andrew, and we are confident that we captured well this couple’s extra special wedding day.
