Happy Monday!
The last of our bridal party posts is dedicated to how Unveiled has refined photographing some of the most important people in your life.
First, we ask our clients what their location preferences are. Sometimes the answers are very general, such as preferring a natural setting or downtown Kingston. Other preferences narrow location proximity; for instance, being close to the reception venue is important to the couple.
Second, we help guide our clients’ location choices by asking how many are in the bridal party as some locations in Kingston are more conducive to arranging a larger party. Or we might ask the couple if they are interested in shooting at a location we have never been to before, thus offering to them a unique wedding portfolio.
Third, we offer guidance by occasionally scoping out an area before the wedding day. Perhaps a location is not as pretty as we had hoped, with flowers and trees being late to bloom. Or maybe the time of day will be too bright and sunny to shoot, making for washed out photos and squinting eyes.
Lastly, each weekend we do our absolute best, to look at a popular location differently, finding corners and angles we hadn’t thought of before, alleyways we have not had time to walk through in the past, or arranging the bride and groom and attendants differently on a set of stairs. Each weekend we try to use lighting in a dramatic way, height more effectively, and architecture more fashionably. Cues from the environment are taken including tree lines, rock formations, or natural colours.
Know that we are very willing to act upon ideas and requests because ultimately, we want our clients to be fully satisfied with their experience with Unveiled and pleased when viewing the the end product.
We hope you enjoy this next set of fun and unique bridal party pictures.
